How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the graphic design and development of multi-channel digital and print marketing communications and campaigns. This role will support initiatives for multi-product brands and work closely with other marketing team members to create, finalize, and distribute internal and external communications.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

Develop and design multi-channel marketing content and ensure the messaging is effective and on strategy. The responsibilities break down into these specific areas:
Research, design, and at times help write complex or specialized sales collateral that is effective and appropriate for the intended audience Develop and maintain digital and print graphic design concepts (e.g., art, color themes, photographs, web pages) to support the organization's image, identity, and brands with an equal eye on how content/copy contributes to the overall design and messaging strategy Understanding of journey maps, positioning statements and other key content creation methodologies that identify the voice of the customer and deliver brand value through marketing communications Create and oversee all graphic design assets needed during the commercialization process: graphic design, packaging design, photography, video, digital assets, websites, social media and in-store environments Create social media graphics using digital best practices across platforms with optimized images, video assets and scheduling and publishing platforms Manage day-to-day website maintenance and review of site content to ensure it meets the latest product and company standards Pull and review web analytics reports and provide follow-up recommendations for improving website traffic, lead generation, and marketing initiatives in general Assist Brand Managers and external agencies with the overall support of our SEO strategy and serve as an in-house resource with support of external resources Apply various marketing communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a response by the target audience

Assist in refining in-house marketing communications process and procedures and creative workflow of all projects with the Sr. Marketing Manager and respective Brand Managers of each business Help maintain marketing server file structure per documented procedures and adhere to existing file naming conventions to locate assets by product, document type and date. Guide graphic designers or vendors on adherence to this methodology so all assets can be placed where needed for future revisions Stay informed about marketing best practices, trends, and tools to be more effective and better resonate with target audience groups Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product and brand value props and positioning and curate content that resonates with respective target groups Participate in ways to enhance processes, procedures, and automation and work more effectively and efficiently

Required Experience
8 + years of In-depth experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, and others Sold understanding of video and print production processes 6+ years in a similar role, preferably in a B2B marketing environment 6 + years in advanced graphic design and content curation experience with a solid understanding of how copy and design create meaningful messaging to target audience segments 6+ years of experience working on a marketing team Strong people and teamwork skills are required to ensure and understand value propositions and input from other stakeholders to develop and update written and visual communications Excellent people skills working with MarCom team and with other key stakeholders Team player: Possesses a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration skills. Good at working closely with others to finalize creative messaging Demonstrated ability to work in a large, matrix organization and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders Ability to articulate ideas and concepts and provide recommendations and rationale on approach Strong written communication and presentation skills Able to see a creative project from idea conceptualization through to final execution Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and on cross-functional teams under tight deadlines Possesses production techniques and should be able to coordinate with vendorsPreferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
2 + years of CRM experience a plus, specifically in HubSpot, MS D365 or both along with an understanding of CRM/CMS automation platforms for lead nurturing, and triggered workflows Preferred experience developing and setting up user journeys and aligning key content with triggered real-time communications Preferred experience with Hootsuite, Sendable, Sprout, and other social media publishing platforms is a plus Preferred experience with a variety of MarCom Tech stack dashboards to help assess SEO and web traffic Advanced experience in video and print production processes and working with 2D and 3D models and files A combination of experience working in both corporate and agency-related work roles is preferredEducation & Certifications
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Marketing, or Business is requiredTravel & Working Environment
Ability to occasionally travel to tradeshows and national sales meetings - up to 10%
