The Senior Level Developer will join a team of developers supporting our current development activities. The responsibilities entail the design and development of applications, data maintenance and processing toolsets, web functionality, among other project activities that offer daily diversity to a developer’s experiences. This exciting opportunity provides for an individual to grow their career while working with a motivated project team, in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
Design and maintenance of database structures used in GIS based applicationsAssist in Unit/Automated testing of applicationsThis is a position with duties surrounding all phases of software life-cycle developmentDesign and implement GIS based applications ranging in size from small multi department to complex enterprise wide Follow current best practices to meet specifications outlined in requirementsWill participate in the effort of the analysis and design, coding and implementation/on-going support of applicationsCommunicate with other members of development team to coordinate related tasks required in the analysis, design, coding and testing of new or existing functionality in applications.UI creation and maintenance Operate in a high-performance culture noted for accountability, trust and open communicationsMaintain and improve coding skills by keeping abreast of latest development technology, practices, procedures and toolsets.Provide support and integration functionality for third party applications where applicable Other tasks outlined by development managerEducation | Experience:Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years of web applications development experienceProficient with ESRI tech stackProficiency with OOD (Object Oriented Design) C#, .NET 4+, Relational Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres), ORM, MVC, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, CSS, HTML, Source Control, Unit Testing, DevOps requiredAbility to read, write, and speak English fluentlyAbility to manage tasks and timelines effectivelyAbility to manage project and daily tasks effectivelyQuality interpersonal communication skillsA positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced, rapid development environment
