We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Developer and Administrator – Microsoft Power Platform to join our Corporate - Technology Innovation & Data (TID) team.

The Sr. Developer and Admin – Microsoft Power Platform is responsible for overseeing and nurturing a global network of citizen developers working with MS Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint. This role involves managing the adoption of Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Power Platform to streamline business processes while providing guidance, governance, and support to citizen developers on best practices. The administrator will work closely with internal teams to define functional requirements, architect solutions, and ensure that citizen-developed applications align with organizational goals. A strong focus will be placed on fostering citizen development initiatives and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and well-designed. The role requires deep expertise in SharePoint and Power Platform, including creating business process flows, configuring applications, and troubleshooting technical issues. Additionally, the administrator will provide end-user training, develop best practices documentation, and support system optimization and maintenance.

This role is based in Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Toronto Corporate Office, reporting to the Director of Corporate Systems. This role involves interactions with primarily internal stakeholders at various levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

Power Platform Administration:

Manage and maintain multiple Power Platform environments to support various business units and projects.

Oversee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to protect sensitive data and enforce security measures across Power Platform applications.

Regularly review environment settings, security roles, and user permissions to ensure appropriate access control and compliance with organizational policies.

Oversight:

Ensure governance and compliance across all citizen-developed solutions within Power Platform.

Monitor the use of Power Platform tools to ensure alignment with company policies and security standards.

Regularly review and assess the quality of solutions created by citizen developers, offering feedback for continuous improvement.

Nurturing:

Provide ongoing support and guidance to global citizen developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and resources to empower citizen developers with the skills needed for effective solution-building.

Establish a community of practice for citizen developers to share knowledge, solve problems, and encourage best practices.

Building Automation with Power Platform:

Architect and build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline internal processes and improve efficiency.

Create and configure model-driven apps, canvas apps, and business process flows to solve business problems and automate tasks.

Implement and manage Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights from automated data flows.

SharePoint Online:

Configure and manage SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and lists to support document management and collaboration.

Build custom solutions on SharePoint Online using Power Apps and Power Automate to integrate seamlessly with existing workflows.

Ensure proper governance, permissions, and data security within SharePoint environments to safeguard sensitive information.

Dataverse:

Design and manage Dataverse environments to ensure seamless data integration and management across Power Platform solutions.

Build custom entities, relationships, and data models within Dataverse to support application functionality and business processes.

Optimize Dataverse performance by ensuring data consistency, integrity, and scalability.

Who You Are

Strong understanding of business and management principles to align technical solutions with organizational goals.

Deep expertise in Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents, with a focus on administration, environment management, DLP policies, and connector management.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 (O365) technologies, including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power Platform integrations.

Solid project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee Power Platform-related initiatives and ensure timely delivery.

Proficient in working with Dataverse to model, store, and manage data in Power Platform solutions.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing source control, CI/CD pipelines, and facilitating team collaboration in development environments.

Experience with SharePoint Online configuration, custom list management, and integrating with Power Platform tools.

Experience working with a team of citizen developers, proving nurturing and governance oversight.

The ability to troubleshoot and optimize Power Platform applications and environments for performance and scalability.

Extensive knowledge of AZURE DEVOPs or comparable code repository management solutions

Experience in leading multiple, concurrent, large-scale releases and teams covering design, development, implementation and support

Experience with providing solutions that require integration with enterprise level solutions such as Service Now, Workday and Azure Directory.

Proven DEVOP experience demonstrating improved collaboration across IT teams, accelerate deploy cycles, and deliver better experiences with this modern software development methodology.

Experienced on enterprise scale SharePoint implementation and migration

Ability to manage and execution against project plan and delivery commitments

What You Bring

Minimum of 7 years relevant experience providing custom solutions in O365

University degree in Computer Science of Engineering or equivalent experience

Formal training React JS, SPFX, PnP, SharePoint REST API, MS GRAPH API, PowerShell PnP

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
