This position is responsible for designing, prototyping, creating, modifying, and maintaining Supply Chain systems. Additional responsibilities include partnering with business analysts to review and refine business requirements into core system capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Enhance technical functionalities and improve data process flow between Warehouse Management systems and other supporting supply chain applications. Utilize API testing tools, API Gateways, and version control systems effectively within projects. Demonstrate proficiency in comprehending Rest API structures and understanding response error codes. Understand and apply knowledge of microservices architecture and service-oriented architecture principles. Troubleshoot and address issues related to API performance and usability to ensure optimal functioning. Strong understanding of database technologies, including Oracle, MySQL, and SQL server. Write and execute complex SQL queries and develop database PL/SQL procedures and packages. Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and vendor partners to determine project scope/vision, resolve system issues, and ensure adherence to implementation guidelines. Possess knowledge in Server Administration duties, including validating garbage collection, heap dumps, and thread usage in Linux environments. Partner with business analysts to refine and review business requirements, translating them into core system capabilities. Ensure proper documentation, communication, auditing, and deployment of changes in alignment with established procedures, working closely with Enterprise teams. Participate in on-call rotations for technical support, resolving business problems, and documenting solutions. Mentor team members on new technologies and share expertise in the field. Required QualificationsExperience: 6 or more years of developing API’s using Java. Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology. JAVA/Rest API/ PL/SQL programming experience is mandatory. Warehouse Management IT experience is preferred. Retail IT experience is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

Professional Certifications: Java or Oracle certifications including SQL and PL/SQL programming preferred.
Platform knowledge (Linux, UNIX, Windows): Redhat Linux,Unix,Windows Server 2019.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Experience in GCP/Azure Cloud Products and services Knowledge in developing business reports using Snowflake or Cognos is preferred. Message Queues like Apache AMQ or Rabbit MQ or Kafka knowledge is preferred. Strong reporting ability around Manhattan Warehouse Management for Open Systems (WMOS) application. Manhattan WMOS knowledge is preferred. MySQL database knowledge is preferred. Ability to work independently and manage workload prioritization in order to deliver high-quality work products on time and with minimal direction. Strong communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
