Responsibilities As a Sr. DevOps Engineer on our team, you'll play a crucial role in translating customer requirements and future goals into innovative solutions that support a mission-critical defense IT system. Qualifications Required: Experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment 5+ years of experience building and supporting DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines 3+ years of experience with containerization, building images and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes 2+ years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm using ArgoCD or Flux and writing custom Helm charts 2+ years of experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions Knowledge of container security technologies with experience evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ Certification prior to starting on contract Desired: Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby and leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, AWS, or VMware Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation Knowledge of foundational system administration principles Knowledge of and experience with classified environment processes and protocols Kubernetes certification Since 2006, Intelligent Waves has remained committed to providing quality engineering, operations, and intelligence solutions to our clients and it all starts with YOU.
