We develop custom security tooling and embrace out-of-the-box solutions, following the mantra: _"We don’t make insecure impossible; we make secure irresistible."_ **What You’ll Do** + **Security Automation & Threat Mitigation** – Lead vulnerability management, SIEM operations, and security analysis while driving automation. + **Full Lifecycle Security Development** – Own the design, maintenance, and development of security products (e.g., Elastic, Orca), beyond just configuration. + **Cloud & Container Security** – Work with AWS, GCP, Azure, and Oracle Cloud, as well as container security in Kubernetes and Docker. + **Risk Integration in CI/CD** – Assess vulnerabilities and integrate risk management into CI/CD pipelines. + **Proactive Security Investigation** – Analyze security events, automate responses, and take decisive action to mitigate risks. + **Process Optimization & Automation** – If you do something more than once a week, you find a way to automate it. **Qualifications** **What We’re Looking For** + **6-9 years** of experience in **DevOps, automation, security, DFIR, threat intelligence, coding, and cloud security** + Strong background in **log analysis and automation** with tools like Logstash, Elastic, Graylog, LogScale, and Sumo Logic. + Experience in **business risk analysis** for vulnerabilities and security integration across multiple initiatives. + Ability to **track, manage, and communicate security projects** using Jira. + Strong **problem-solving mindset** – when data points don’t make sense, you investigate, analyze, and take action. + Excellent **communication skills** to present engineering approaches with objective pros and cons. + Comfortable working in **fast-moving, cross-functional security environments** without a dedicated security engineering team. **Tech Stack & Tools** + **Cloud & Infrastructure:** AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud + **Containers:** Docker, Kubernetes + **Security & Logging:** Elastic, Zscaler, EDR endpoint vendors + **CI/CD & Version Control:** GitLab + **Scripting & Programming:** Python, Shell scripting, PowerShell, basic Assembly If you're passionate about **building secure systems, automating security processes, and owning the security lifecycle** , we’d love to hear from you! **Other/State Specific** _This role pays between $_ _125k_ _to $_ _155k_ _, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location._ _At Frontdoor certain roles are eligible for additional rewards and incentives.
