Sr. Dir., Head of Business Development & Licensing, RNAi - Perm - Boston, MA

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Director, Head of Business Development and Licensing to join an innovative RNAi company leveraging a start of the art AI platform to advance a pipeline of novel therapeutics.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will focus on strategic business development, partnerships, alliances, and licensing agreements, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and deliver the Business Development Strategy.

Skills & Requirements:

Proven track record in business development within the life sciences industry.Experience in assessing opportunities and negotiating R&D deals.Strong understanding of the competitive landscape.Highly analytical with outstanding attention to detail.Established network of contacts and relationships with key decision-makers in pharma companies.Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong financial acumen for valuation analyses.

The Sr. Dir., Head of Business Development & Licensing, RNAi's responsibilities will be:

Expand and develop dialogue with potential partners and lead outreach efforts.Propose and negotiate deal structures to maximize retained value.Drive commercial positioning in external forums and support investor relations efforts.Assess commercial opportunities in therapeutic areas and indications.Map industry activity and stay updated on trends in computational/AI drug discovery and the genetic medicines field.Collaborate with R&D teams and suggest commercial strategies.Interface with AI and informatics teams to leverage advances.Manage alliances, build rapport with partners, and work closely with R&D and finance teams.Develop bespoke pitch materials tailored to target audiences.Line manage Competitive Intelligence and Business Development Analysts.
