We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.

Essential Duties:

Manage purchase order or raw materials for specific categories.Manage direct materials suppliers including on time shipments, logistics tracking, and goods receipts.Work with the technology organization on purchasing systems and reporting enhancement.Responsible for maintaining target inventory levels for specific raw material categoriesEngage relevant internal stakeholders such as Legal, Risk Assessment, and Sourcing Managers as needed in finalizing agreementsManage Panasonic’s Purchasing in SAPAddress any Purchasing system service or delivery issues directly with the supplierResolve order and invoicing issues with users, suppliers and/or Corporate Accounts PayableGenerate and analyze reports on POs and invoices to track performance and identify efficiency improvement opportunities

Qualifications:  Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

Basic/Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar discipline

Essential Qualifications:

5+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience in areas such as manufacturing, purchasing, or other area.Prior experience with direct materials and commodities.SC Planning experience a plus.Strong analytics and financial skillsExperience with sourcing and supplier managementAbility to lead and influence change in the face of complexity and ambiguity  Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, organization, and project management skills  Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management Knowledge of technology applications enabling procurement and strategic sourcing  Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Tableau preferredHighly motivated, flexible, proactive with a continuous improvement mentalityThrives in fast paced, goal oriented, dynamic organization with time sensitive deadlinesDetail oriented with strong organizational skillExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to provide timely and effective written and verbal communications

Preferred Qualifications:

Japan speaking preferred but not required.Experience in energy, mining, or technology preferred.Preferred prior experience with Procure to Pay, ERP, Supplier Onboarding and Source to PayExperience with supplier portal applications.
