Success in this role will come from enhancing Xumo Enterprise’s existing partnerships while staying aware of new opportunities. This role will be the internal spokesperson for our key partners. To achieve this result, the Sr. Director must be comfortable leading cross-functional discussions with our Product, Operations, Advertising, Business Affairs, Data, Finance, and Editorial teams. This role will be looked upon to clearly communicate multiple projects’ objectives, prioritization, and any key information. Leading by example and personally digging into the details will be expected. Because the business is fast paced, the candidate must be comfortable using their past experience to be decisive while having a bias for action. The characteristics sought for this role include being a highly motivated team player who has demonstrated an expertise working with preferably both FAST platforms and FAST content providers. We will also rely on this individual to share current FAST trends and new developments. Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform on a variety of branded 4K streaming devices and smart TVs. Powered by Comcast’s global technology platform, Xumo devices and services feature an entertainment experience designed to make it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content through a world-class user interface and voice search, and for partners to meaningfully connect and engage with millions of consumers. **Job Description** **Core Responsibilities** + Analyze and grow Xumo Enterprise’s existing platform and content partnerships through our core services of channel playout, delivery, and monetization + Be the partnerships lead on key accounts to communicate internally on behalf of partners and to help inform strategies around pricing, product features, and new growth opportunities + Gather & share market intelligence that will maintain Xumo’s leadership within the FAST ecosystem + Design, implement, and fine-tune a data-driven prioritization grid that will be used to assess opportunities, summarize partnerships, and identify growth areas to senior leadership and key stakeholders + Clearly communicate new opportunities to platforms and content providers, and then partner with Business Affairs to execute applicable agreements + Be a trusted voice and leader who will help develop the growing Xumo Enterprise business team + Meet with various platform and content providers to hear pitches and lead initial contract negotiations + Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance + Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
