Sr. Director, Global Center of Excellence (COE), P2P Global Process & Digital Transformation

The Sr. Director, Global Center of Excellence (COE), P2P Global Process & Digital Transformation is responsible for all aspects related to Procurement reporting on results, audit and controls, the ongoing management of the Procurement digital transformation and technology roadmap, including Supplier Portal, Master Data Governance Initiatives, and S2P activities. In addition, this role will partner with our Global Digital Operations on all data management and reporting needs for Procurement, and with Global Business Center, (GBS), and form a strong link between strategic sourcing and GBS teams on all related matters of S2P and P2P activities, and Supplier Performance management system, (financial, quality and service KPI’s), to build and deploy the SRM module, as well as drive process standardization at global level.

As a key member of the Global Procurement Leadership Team (GPLT), the incumbent will be involved in the development of a three-to-five-year strategies on the foundation of data and technology in the pursuit of best in class and high performing procurement organization, and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives to drive transformation in the procurement space.

They will identify, own, and drive forward continuous improvement initiatives across the function plus support major organizational projects on the transformation roadmap and in doing so coach leaders and front-line employees to develop and sustain continuous improvement mindsets and behaviors. In addition, a key responsibility of the role will be to be the architect of Mater Data Governance blueprint, and drive adherence in use of the company’s procurement data. This highly visible role will require a candidate with the ability to work closely, yet remotely with regional procurement teams regarding the utilization of strategies and techniques within the operating environment as well as other business support functions (e.g., HR, Finance, IT, etc.)

As a Sr. Director your responsibilities will include:

Identifying, owning and driving forward continuous improvement initiatives across the function plus support major organizational projects on the transformation roadmap

Coaching leaders and front-line employees to develop and sustain continuous improvement mindsets and behaviors.

Conducting a thorough assessment of the company’s total global spend by the periodic updating of a global spend cube/ spend analysis  

Driving adherence in use of the company’s procurement technology.

Working closely, yet remotely with regional procurement teams regarding the utilization of strategies and techniques within the operating environment as well as other business support functions (e.g., HR, Finance, IT, etc.)

Participating in the definition of a fully comprehensive category strategy for both direct and indirect goods and services

Translate the global procurement strategy into detailed category plans with a set of measurable global, regional, and local targets

Executing on target opportunities by conducting strategic sourcing projects and supplier selection related activities using best practices and e-Sourcing tools

Supporting the delivery of 100% digital cataloging of key procurement contracts

Identifying procurement processes and policies for alignment at the country, region, and global levels

Providing business SME for future digital procurement platform deployments

Qualified candidates will have:

At least 15 years’ experience in Procurement, and 5 in a procurement leadership role.

A bachelor’s degree in business, supply management, engineering or other related discipline and 5-7 years of continuous improvement and/ or project management experience

Executive presence, confidence, and presentation skills to communicate a value proposition to a wide range of organizational and function levels

Demonstrated success at driving cost savings, TCO, efficiency gains, and/or meeting other key business priorities

Knowledge and understanding of purchasing practices, policies, and procedures; in-depth experience in using procurement technology to drive value.

Experience in international procurement / sourcing activities with a record of leading change and cost reduction in cross-cultural environments

Experience in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously with results consistent with management’s expectations

A demonstrated history of successfully collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders

A passion for managing and developing employees in alignment with company values

An ability to multi-task

Strong oral and written communication skills, be highly organized, and have excellent problem solving/decision making abilities

Excellent analytical and financial acumen including cost modeling, budgeting, and forecasting

Excellent skills within the Microsoft Office suite

Pay Range:

$211,800.00-$282,400.00 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
