Job Description:
Reporting to the General Manager, Metrex, the Senior Director of Global Product Management and R&D will play a pivotal role in the future and success of the Metrex business and Envista Holdings. This role will be responsible for the technical vision and development of the Metrex portfolio and the up-stream product management strategy and execution. This role will lead the strategic build and the daily execution of product solutions.
The Senior Director will lead a team of leaders responsible for the R&D and Product Management teams. Along with being a visionary of the Metrex business, the Senior Director will partner with Sales, QA/RA, Manufacturing, and other business partners to lead Metrex in profitable growth.

Develop and lead the execution product strategy (product, package, and services) in global Medical and Dental markets.Develop and lead the execution of product innovation and lifecycle strategic roadmap to drive growth and profitability in global Medical and Dental Markets.Other Responsibilities
Develop and implement research and product development strategy that aligns with Business Unit commercial objectives and Product Management VOC inputProvide technical support and communicate highly technical issues effectively to a non-technical audience while possessing the technical depth to communicate with infection prevention experts and regulatory bodiesPartner with other cross-functional teams to manage risk and to resolve project roadblocks, such as resource constraints, regulatory compliance, design trade-offs & communication issues.Design and execute comprehensive R&D plan for the development of surface disinfection program and other product development programsBuild and nurture strong relationships with healthcare Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gain deeper insights, while leading research efforts to support Product Management in identifying unmet needs and emerging impactful technologiesLead, define, represent, and communicate to all stakeholders and cross-functional teams within OpCo and Envista Holdings CorporationDeliver customer and market intelligence to OpCo and Envista leadership team with actionable insightsBuild a diverse pipeline of technical talent by attracting, developing and promoting technical talent.Develop budgets, forecasts, and metricsDefine pricing and competitive positioning for each productDrive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive actionWork with training partners to ensure commercial teams are fully enabled to execute on growth strategyJob Requirements:
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience leading R&D, Product Management and / or Field Marketing strategy and team is requiredDemonstrated track record of creating & executing product development and management strategies and tactics is required.Demonstrated ability to take self-initiative and ownership, roll-up sleeve, make strategic decisions and deliver results with sense of urgency.Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality, with ability to influence across the organizationStrong oral, written and presentation skills. Demonstratable skills in Word, Excel.Experience in a continuous improvement methodologyExcellent organizational and project management skills.EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:
MS in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering, 8+ years of industry or /start-up environments are highly preferred; PhD a plusTechnical knowledge in wet chemistry and analytical chemistry (e.g., chromatography)Minimum of 10 years of team leadership/people managementMinimum 15 years of professional R&D, product management, and/or upstream marketing experience in medical device or life sciences industries requiredTRAVEL:
