The Senior Director of MarTech will lead the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of the marketing technology stack to drive the company's marketing initiatives and business growth. The focus of the role will be on exploring potential technologies, assessing current platforms or systems, or creating new platforms, collaborating with third-party partners, to deliver innovative business solutions through strategic use of technology, and eventually drive accelerated reach and scale.
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive MarTech strategy that aligns with the company's marketing objectives and business goals.Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of innovative marketing technologies to enhance the marketing stack.Technology Exploration & Integration:
Identify, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and digital trends, assessing their potential to drive revenue growth, improve marketing effectiveness, and enhance the customer experienceOversee the integration of MarTech platforms with existing digital platforms and ecosystems to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross functions to ensure the security and compliance of marketing technologies.Data-Driven Insights:
Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing marketing strategies and campaigns.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the impact of MarTech initiatives.Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Manage relationships with MarTech vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions and support.Work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to align MarTech initiatives with overall business objectives.Innovation and Trends:
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in marketing technology and identify opportunities for innovation.Promote the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices within the marketing team.Qualification/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in marketing technology or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.Extensive experience in platform integration and central management of marketing technology stack, including CRM systems, marketing automation tools, digital asset management, and data analytics platforms.Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale transformation projects, including project planning, resource management, and risk mitigation.Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with a passion for driving innovation and business growth through technologyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations specific to the pharmaceutical industry preferred, ensuring compliance in marketing technology implementations.Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
