Sr. Director, Price-To-Win
Akima, LLC is seeking a Director to lead the Price-To-Win (PTW) team to drive future growth across multiple markets. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The candidate must have demonstrable experience leading and managing the PTW for a variety of opportunities, deep understanding of the contractual requirements of the industry, and a track record of proven results. **This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Herndon, VA.** **Responsibilities** + The Director will provide capture and executive leadership with actionable, fact-driven analyses to enhance decision making early in the acquisition cycle to shape the RFP, to enable bid / no bid decisions, and prior to submission so that the PTW strategy and range is clearly understood. + Perform and lead in-depth, data driven analyses of: + Customer available funding, award behaviors, and IGCE development. + Competitor bid behaviors, specific to market and acquisition terms. + Market-specific competitive price requirements. + Wins and losses, including those Akima did not bid. + Lessons learned and process improvements. + Develop and maintain strong cooperative relationships Business Development, Capture Management, Competitive Intelligence and line-of-business executives to both gain and share valuable intelligence and insights. + Provide timely and cogent dissemination of intelligence and analyses to Captures without a dedicated PTW resource. + Provide training to PTW team and others. + Track and present PTW performance metrics to executive leadership. + Grow existing databases and archives to stay current with changing market conditions. **Skills:** + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. + Ability to brief leadership using clear and concise discourse to support executive decision making. + Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams with different areas of expertise. + Ability to quickly develop new strategies that respond to changes in competitor bid behaviors or market conditions. + Problem solving & decision making under pressure. + Management of time and priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Providing a calm and cooperative work environment. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years of experience performing accurate PTW analyses. + Experience successfully managing a dedicated or cross-functional team of professionals. + Thorough understanding of federal and Defense acquisition regulations, policies, and union agreements **.** **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with Aviation Training, Aviation Logistics, Facilities Services, Ground Based Logistics, Cyber, IT Services, Guard Services. **Education:** + BS in Finance or related field. **Pay Range** (The pay range for this job level is provided as general guidance only, and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
