Sr. Director, Product Operations

ADP is hiring a Senior Director of Product Operations

 

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Product Operations Team Lead to support our growing Product Management team. As a key player in the success of a rapidly scaling product, you will oversee operational processes, enablement activities, and communication strategies to ensure the seamless execution of our product roadmap. This role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage tools, processes, and analytics that drive product success.

 

You will lead a team that supports release management, product feedback, stakeholder communications, and process improvement. In addition, you will work closely with product managers, UX designers, developers, and other departments (e.g., sales, service, implementation) to align efforts and ensure smooth product delivery.

 

The Product Operations Team Lead should have knowledge  of  Human Capital Management Systems (HCM ) and an interest in understanding the product functionality. This position requires a deep understanding of product management, operations, and change management.

What You Can Expect On a Typical Day

 

Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the product roadmap, providing regular updates and presentations to stakeholders. Track roadmap items to ensure they are on schedule, follow required processes, and receive proper reviews and signoffs. Facilitate annual product planning activities and collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to manage detailed processes. Partner with senior leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement experiential learning and enablement programs for product teams. Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly product updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress across key areas including, sales, implementation and client success, ensuring alignment and transparency on product development and priorities. Track incoming tickets, assign responsibilities, and analyze submissions to determine appropriate actions. Manage tools and platforms such as Pendo to track product usage, analyze data, and generate actionable insights. Train and onboard team members in product management processes, tools, and analytics. Support product release planning, including scope definition, dependency management, and pilot launches. Lead stakeholder communication on release progress, risks, and adjustments. Oversee the preparation and delivery of release notes, ensuring content meets accessibility and UX standards. Facilitate post-release analysis, gathering user feedback and monitoring performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Ensure effective collaboration across departments such as service, sales, and implementation to align goals and priorities. Align the go-to-market (GTM) process with team activities, ensuring proper rollout planning and insights are delivered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

Minimum 12 years of experience in product management, product operations or release management areas Experience with HCM systems is preferred Strong understanding of product management processes, tools, and analytics. Strong MS Office Skills (PowerPoint/Excel) required. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Superior Presentation skills. Ability to collaborate and work effectively within cross-functional teams. Ability to negotiate, convince and lead with influence. Proficiency in tools such as Pendo, Jira, or similar platforms for roadmap tracking and analytics.

 

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $122,400.00 - $328,140.00 / Year
