As we expand our impact and operations nationwide, we’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Director of Production to lead our multi-site production and distribution facilities.

This is a critical leadership role that will drive operational excellence, build high-performing teams, and support our ambitious growth goals — including geographic expansion, integration of new business lines, and increased automation.  Specific focus will be placed on implementing change as our company looks to scale our manufacturing and supply chain capabilities while significantly improving cost and quality performance.   

The Opportunity

As the Senior Director of Production, you will be responsible for a multiple-site production and distribution network ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant food production.  You’ll coach and develop Site Directors and their management teams, champion lean manufacturing practices, and use data to drive decision-making.  You will oversee major Capex projects and new facility start-ups in addition to leading continual process improvement initiatives to support our operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across all production and distribution facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance.

• Develop and mentor Site Directors and their teams to build leadership capability and drive engagement.

• Ensure that lean practices, along with advanced manufacturing technologies and methodologies, are applied across the manufacturing process to drive continuous improvement and exceed our customers' expectations.

• Develop and implement strategies to scale manufacturing and supply chain capabilities in alignment with business expansion.

• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives to scale production and enhance consistency.

• Build and manage an end-to-end Operations budget that supports the company’s financial and operational goals.

• Drive major capital expenditure (Capex) projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, QA, R&D, Supply Chain) to support innovation and resolve constraints.

What You Bring

• 15+ years of operations leadership in food manufacturing; multi-site experience preferred.

• Proven track record in scaling operations and leading high-performing teams.

• Strong background in food safety (HACCP, GMP), automation, and process engineering.

• Proven success in driving operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement programs.

• Expertise in optimizing distribution networks, enhancing asset utilization, and maximizing customer value.

• Experience managing and increasing capacity through internal expansion and co-manufacturing partnerships.

• Strong financial acumen, including fluency in financial statements, capital project evaluations, and cost accounting.

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $150,000 - 185,000
