CCG Platform Validation is the organization responsible for platform integration, validation and optimization across Client programs. It acts as CCG's First Customer, ensuring we beat customer expectations on Quality, Schedule, PnP and Experiences. Platform Validation has 2 main sites, one in the US and the other India.
A senior engineering leader and member of Platform Validation (PV) staff. Responsible for leading, directing and managing the PV-SIV US team, focused on covering all aspects of platform integration and validation, including our BKC delivery, Crowd Sourced Platform Validation (CSPV), which provides key telemetry-based insights, and our Customer Shift-Left Program (CSLP) focused on early testing and continuous co-validation of customer form factor systems/designs, working with key stakeholders and customers (e.g. Microsoft Surface, Dell) at a leadership level.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, directing and managing the PV-SIV Org in the US, focused on end-to-end system integration and validation, including CSPV and CSLP, for Client Programs.
Collaborating with key stakeholders and customers (e.g. Microsoft Surface, Dell) at a leadership level, driving early testing and continuous co-validation of customer form factor systems/designs.
Functioning as the gatekeeper of top-quality releases to customers (Pre-Si to Power On to Post Silicon and Post PV). This requires collaborating closely with the team in Bengaluru, India and several partner and stakeholder teams around the world.
Functioning as a critical member of global Platform Validation Staff, involved in influencing, and implementing global PV strategy, including modernizing, and transforming for the future.
Building and retaining a world class system integration and validation organization in the US.
Multi-year experience working directly with customers and their products.
System level knowledge and knowledge in key technology areas relevant to Computing and Devices.
Needs to demonstrate superb strategic acumen and a growth mindset.
Passionate about and prior experience in product delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field with 20+ years of experience
Proven and multi-year experience building, growing, and running large teams globally.
Extensive experience working across time-zone/geos with multiple stakeholders.
Strong expertise and hands-on experience running Validation and System Integration.
Broad experience across the Client product portfolio HW and SW is preferred.
Experience in delivering Windows OS based systems/platforms.
Prior experience with Windows OS based Debug/Dev.
Preferred Qualifications:
Managing teams in multiple Geos.
Prior experience working in the US and India.
Prior exposure to working with Microsoft teams.
Experience managing Client products.
End-to-End experience delivering full system Client, Devices or Servers.
Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $247,810.00-$349,850.00
