About the Sr. Director, Web and Content Operations
The Senior Director of Web and Content Operations leads a team of scrum masters, architects, developers, quality assurance, and content migrators to enhance the client's digital ecosystem built in Drupal. This role is an extension of the client’s marketing team and supporting the evolving needs of the whole organization.

Here’s what you’ll be doing day to day…
Technical Solution Strategy: Collaborate with the client team to define the digital roadmap and troubleshoot emerging issues. Provide innovative ideas to create a functional and attractive digital environment. Contribute to the client's digital transformation strategies based on industry best practices.
Cross Functional Team Leadership: You will be closely engaged with client partners, strategists, and delivery engagement leaders to shape solutions towards clients explicit and latent needs. You will assess and recommend experience platform-oriented solutions, engineering solutions, and closely collaborate with a global distributed delivery team to convert client visions to reality.
Architecture: Construct and refine technical architecture to solve complex business problems through in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Communicate: Articulate the transition from current to future state in consideration of the future needs of the business, security policies and requirements. Break down complex business and technical strategies and roadmaps into consumable requirements for teams to execute against.

Your Experience & Intangible Traits:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Director Web and Content Operations position will possess the following competencies:
10+ years of aggregate experience in digital technologies, including architecting and developing large-scale web applications
10+ years of experience in client-facing technology consulting roles
5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining a complex Drupal (or similar) web CMS platform
Ability to methodically estimate technology execution scope of work in terms of budget and resources
Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices on topics such as personalization, cross channel marketing, mobile, data driven optimization of experiences
Ability to define conceptual technology solution and articulate the value of technology to drive creative marketing platforms and present technology solutions to both technical and non-technical clients
Ability to translate client goals into achievable technical specifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems, mathematics or equivalent
Experience with any of the following would be relevant to the role and considered a plus:
Experience developing modern microservice applications using cloud-native abilities of AWS
Hands on experience with DevOps and release management process
Hands-on experience implementing complex customer journeys, personalization, and targeted customer offerings through use of digital experience platforms.

Pay Range: $111,600.00 - 175,000.00
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Material. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
