As Sr. Director Americas Automation Marketing, you will lead a team of people that is focused on generating demand for the US automation business. Working closely with your colleagues in Digital Industries Software (DI SW), your team will leverage the foundation for digital demand creation that has been built in DI SW to drive a new level of demand performance for our automation products and services. In addition and in collaboration with the broader Siemens communications team in the US, your team will also be responsible for all aspects of communications for the automation business in the US, including executive presentations, supporting major events, PR and analysts relations. You’ll work very closely with sales and customers to understand where business opportunities exist and help craft strategies and messages that will result in increased demand for our products as we position those products to best meet customer needs. With a deep understanding of our automation customers and go to market landscape, you’ll drive the execution of innovative marketing plans, establish and deliver on objectives, optimize team operations, and build collaborative relationships with Sales management throughout the region. Bringing your experience of the B2B buyer’s journey, engagement strategies, and execution, you’ll quickly make an impact leading and developing an established team of experts who excel in executing campaigns across multiple industry verticals targeting enterprise and SMB accounts to build and accelerate pipeline.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead DI automation marketing team that supports our industry solution GTM strategy, delivering programs that grow share of wallet within existing customers and create opportunities within target acquisition accounts.Align US automation marketing strategy, tactics, and operations with broader Siemens marketing strategy, driving execution and adjusting/optimizing based on funnel metrics.Build and nurture strong relationships with US Automation Sales leadership across to ensure alignment between Marketing and Sales and to ensure that customer and prospect needs are being proactively addressed.Develop and implement programs that assist direct and indirect sales teams in accelerating opportunities to close, focusing on continual improvement in funnel conversions and velocity.Analyze the marketing funnel, channel mix, and customer segmentation to formulate ideas and approaches to optimize cost effective pipeline generation across different customer segments and personas.Proactively provide data-backed recommendations to supporting functions to optimize industry and solution marketing programs and strategies for the US market.Lead, recruit, motivate, and mentor a team of strategic, data-driven, next-gen marketers to support Siemens DI Automation business. Raising up the team and building a deep bench are essential.Required Qualifications
Successful track record in B2B automation and software marketing with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position or 10 years in a leadership position.Proven strategic, people oriented and inspirational leadership skills that raise up teams and build deep benches.Versed in an array of B2B Marketing Skills with experience introducing and developing new practice areas and skills.Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends and usability.Relates well to a wide variety of diverse styles and personalities; treats differences fairly and equitably to effectively build diverse networks and find common ground.Excellent communication and teamwork skills to connect with stakeholders at all levels.Extensive analytical skills with the ability to go deeper with data analysts and make it simple for other audiences.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or relevant field or experience; MBA preferred.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The salary range for this position is $200,800 to $361,500 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
