Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, analysts and solution architects fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.Define team objectives and key results, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Technical Expertise:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.Stay updated on the latest database technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our organization.Provide deep technical guidance in SQL and database management, troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing performance.Drive continuous improvement in data management and analytics practices, leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.Collaborate with external vendors and partners to enhance data capabilities and deliver robust solutions that meet business objectives.Oversee the end-to-end data pipeline process, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Work closely with engineering teams to optimize data flow and maintain data integrity.Strategic Vision:
Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the database strategy that supports business objectives.Develop and implement best practices for database management, governance, and data integrity.Drive initiatives to modernize and enhance database architectures, including cloud migrations and data warehousing solutions.Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements, implementing best practices in data security and governance.Design and implement analytics frameworks to transform data into actionable insights. Oversee the creation of dashboards and reports that communicate key metrics to stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.15+ years of experience in database management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Deep expertise in SQL and related database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and driving technical excellence.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Experience with cloud database solutions and data warehousing is a plus.Additional Skills:
