Sr. Director of Analytics and Customer Insights

We are currently hiring a Sr. Director of Analytics and Customer Insights

As the Sr. Director of Analytics and Customer Insights, you will be responsible for leading organizational wide data, analytics and customer insights initiatives for Horizon Hobby. You will have extensive visibility at the C-suite to influence how the business approaches new customer acquisition, channel expansion, operational efficiency and broader decision making. You will be viewed as a critical partner to the leadership team as we pursue the next stage of growth for Horizon Hobby. You will report to the SVP, Head of Growth but maintain extensive cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Digital, Product, Sales, Customer Service and Logistics team members. IT will be one of your most important partners as you shape and scale current data analytics technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Lead the vision and strategy for org-wide data analytics and insights

· Identify and execute high impact analytical initiatives that support decision making for leaders across the business

· Shape customer personas, target customers and provide actionable customer insights

· Sponsor and steer the data technology roadmap and data integrity initiatives

· Influence and impact operations leveraging your expertise in data analytics

· Meet data and reporting requirements across the organization; drive and manage adoption of technologies

· Provide guidance and foresight into the adoption of AI technologies

· Shape marketing analytics to ensure high ROI on marketing spend and effective day-to-day management of business results

· Attract and retain a strong analytics team to drive effectiveness of your department.

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics)

· 10+ years of experience in data management, analytics, customer insights

· Strong leadership and management capabilities

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with track record of influencing organizational-wide thinking

· Proven track record of driving decision-making and delivering measurable business results

· Knowledge of advanced analytics and AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing)

· Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives
