Position Specific Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Finance to lead and shape the financial strategy at EverBright. This role requires a strong background in financial analysis, business development, M&A, and strategic leadership. The Senior Director will oversee financial operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide key insights to guide the company’s growth and success in the residential solar industry.

 

Job Duties:

Manage FP&A team which includes P&L, G&A, and cash reporting, forecasting, and coordination with accounting  

Scenario analysis – optimal financial structure (JV, tax equity, ABS, etc.) and coordination with Treasury

Analysis on strategic business development (internal sales, VPP, in-housing O&M, other growth opportunities)

Support M&A opportunities

Project valuation and Pricing coordination

Coordinate with risk on exposure and reporting

ITC/tax knowledge and coordination with tax department

Adhoc management/strategic reporting and analysis

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience in finance, particularly in the residential solar or energy sector.

Proven track record in managing FP&A teams and leading complex financial analysis and business development projects.

Strong understanding of financial structures, M&A processes, and risk management.

Preffered Education: MBA, CFA, or Master’s in Finance.

Managerial experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams.

Expertise in ITC/tax knowledge, with demonstrated experience in working closely with tax departments.

Job Overview

The leader in this job is responsible for strategic management and oversight of financial forecasting and analysis activities. This job provides leadership and direction to a team of management and professional employees.                                                

Job Duties & Responsibilities Develops short- and long-term financial and economic forecasting and analysis strategy including monthly 5-year strategic forecast, the Monthly Operating Performance Report (MOPR) short term financial forecast, cash flow forecasts, updates to capital expenditure forecast, and forecast updates to credit rating agencies  Selects, develops, and maintains a professional staff with strong analytical and problem-solving skills that are able to develop recommendations based on sound knowledge of the functional area and negotiate implementation Maintains and enhances various financial and economic models in accordance with GAAP and regulatory financial statements Consults with business unit leadership on economic and financial impacts of investment decisions  Performs financial and commercial review of contracts, valuation analyses for potential acquisitions or divestitures, and other analyses as requested by senior leadership Develops, maintains, and continuously improves processes, systems and technology, measurement practices, and metrics reporting  Oversees development of financial related rate case documentation Serves as regulatory witness backup, or oversee the activities of the witness backup for various financial related proceedings Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Grad / GED Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience Experience: 12+ years Leadership Experience: 6+ years Preferred Qualifications None
