As a Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology division, specifically in the Regulatory, Controls & Op Risk Technology function, your role will encompass leading various technical areas and overseeing multiple departments. You will be instrumental in encouraging cross-functional collaboration across a range of technical domains. Your technical expertise will be vital in advocating for the adoption of innovative technical methodologies within various teams, thereby enabling the firm to keep pace with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements. The Regulatory, Controls & Op Risk Technology (RCORT) is a crucial component of Corporate Technology, charged with the design and development of business products essential for identifying and managing JPMC’s regulatory obligations and associated firm policies. This includes establishing a control environment to manage compliance and operational risks across all Lines of Business and Corporate Functions, as well as calculating Regulatory Capital and projecting Operational Risk Losses.

Formal training or certification on large scale technology program concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists Demonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scale Experience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent Extensive practical cloud native experience Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
