The Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition will lead and oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of the talent acquisition function. This role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensuring seamless and positive candidate experience, and building a strong employer brand. The Sr. Director will work closely with the executive senior leadership team to align talent acquisition goals with the company's overall business objectives and outcomes.The ideal candidate should be outcome driven, exhibiting thought leadership and innovative thinking in the recruitment field. They must be in tune with industry trends, serve as a transformational leader and coach, and be ready to dive in and act. Additionally, they should be prepared to spearhead a significant transformation project aimed at overhauling the existing talent acquisition technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:·        Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet the organization's hiring needs.·        Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of recruiters and talent acquisition specialists.·        Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and develop workforce plans.·        Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.·        Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.·        Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent sources.·        Drive inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process.·        Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.·        Manage the recruitment budget and ensure cost-effective hiring practices.·        Represent the company at recruitment events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:·        Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.·        15+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 8-10 years in a leadership role.·        Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.·        Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and analytics.·        Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.·        Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.·        Proven experience leading implementation of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies; preferred experience with Workday
Specific Skills Required:·        Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.·        Data Driven: Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive recruitment decisions and measure effectiveness.·        Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee multiple recruitment initiatives simultaneously.·        Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating job offers and managing candidate expectations.·        Networking: Ability to build and maintain a network of potential candidates and industry contacts.·        Technology Savvy: Familiarity with the latest recruitment technologies and tools.·        Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address recruitment challenges and improve processes.·        Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts and provide regular reports to senior leadership.·        Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality service delivery.·        Budget Management: Develop and manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring cost-effective recruitment practices.·        Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and stakeholders.·        Leadership: Proven leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of recruiters.·        Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and recruitment trends.
Preferred Skills:·        Experience in technology industry or sector.·        Proven proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR analytics.
