As a **Sr. Director** , **Strategic Planning** leader, you will report the VP & General Manager of MasterTax, be a trusted advisor and thought leader to senior leadership to assess, build, and lead strategic initiatives that fuel transformational growth, client experience and innovative advancements for the MasterTax Compliance business. You will collaborate and expand cross functional (internal and external) business partnership including Sales, Global Product &Technology, Compliance Solutions, Legal & Compliance, National Accounts (NAS), Major Accounts (MAS), Small Business (SBS) and external partners to enable our opportunity to capitalize on our competitive advantage. You will also build and lead our market facing partner strategy building mutually beneficial external partnerships that will accelerate incremental growth. You will oversee strategic initiatives from ideation through execution. In this role as the **Sr. Director** , you will influence the strategy to address internal or external business, growth, CX, regulatory opportunities and proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems that impact the direction of the business. An initiative-taker who serves as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and works collaboratively across functions (GPT, sales, marketing, finance, operations, external partners) and Business Units to build business cases, lead multidisciplinary projects and execute strategic initiatives. Ready to #MakeYourMark? **Apply now!** **WHAT YOU’LL DO:** _Responsibilities_ + Assess current portfolio of projects and provide insight and expertise regarding prioritization and execution, to achieve growth milestones + Formulate new business strategies, research & identify innovative opportunities, and paths for long-term growth + Proactive identifies and solves the most complex problems; uses ground-breaking methods to think beyond existing solutions + Works to facilitate the implementation of a strategic programs, with a view towards improving growth, client experience, increasing business effectiveness and reducing risk + Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans with the MasterTax Strategic plan and ADPs corporate plan + Analyzes industry trends and reports for the betterment of business performance, process, and growth + Lead and execute on the Business Development strategy with external partners, by identifying and building mutually beneficial relationships that will accelerate growth + Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process, or service improvements + Leads highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives; provides thought leadership. Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies + Develops and delivers presentations, briefings, and other forms of communication on strategy + Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view + Negotiates with senior management, customers, partners, or vendors to influence decisions + Perform other related duties such as operational analyses and presentation **TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:** _Requirements_ + This is an individual contributor position + We work on a hybrid flexible working arrangement; 3 days in the office and 2 days at home + BA/BS degree or equivalent in education and experience + Knowledge of the Tax, Payroll, Software industry + 12+ years relevant experience in tax, operations, and/or payroll + Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects while meeting tight deadlines + Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills + A solid command of business communication tools and strategies + Demonstrated ability to collaborate across the organization and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes + Collaborative team player who can adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment + Demonstrated skills in content development, workshop development and facilitation, program/project management, problem solving, and diligence + Strong strategic and critical thinking skills + Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams **A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job.
