We are looking for a dynamic **Sr. Director of Talent Development** to join our senior HR leadership team. You will work with the CHRO and other HR leaders to set the people strategies for SHC. In this pivotal role, you will partner with executive leaders across SHC, including the CEO, COO, CMO to develop teams and leaders through a strengths-based approach, all in the spirit of creating an engaging work experience that enables employees to provide exceptional care to our patients. The Sr. Director will work with a highly talented and motivated team of talent development professionals and will have the opportunity to build from a solid foundation in key talent development strategies/programs and grow that impact across the organization. You will play an important strategic role leading, designing, and delivering key talent strategies and programs across SHC such as employee engagement, succession planning, leadership development, change management and performance management. If you are a strategic, passionate, and experienced HR leader with a desire to make a lasting impact, we invite you to apply and join our team. **A Brief Overview** As the Learning and Organizational Development Leader you will lead and design best in class programs, practices and solutions to develop our workforce and leadership capabilities required for effective execution of SHC's strategic imperatives, realize the organization's purpose and champion our culture. You will own the Learning & Development strategy, roadmap, goals, execution and measurement to implement dynamic and innovative learning systems that are integral to the success of our organization. As a result of your learning and development programs our employees will actualize their talents, enhance performance and productivity as leaders or as incredible independent contributors. **Locations** Stanford Health Care **What you will do** + Own the strategy, design, development, delivery, and iteration of learning experiences for all our people at all levels - creating an impactful suite of ongoing learning experiences using relevant research and variety of mediums to drive learning goals. Responsible for leadership development, team effectiveness, engagement, organizational design, cultural interventions, executive coaching, change management, career development and employee training. + Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that Learning & Development programs are aligned with specific business priorities and outcomes while aligned to our people strategy. Conduct ongoing learning reviews to calibrate relevance and impact of delivery. + Design, implement and facilitate enterprise and function learning and development programs, consistent with best practice and innovative approaches, to address new hire on-boarding, new role transitions and proficiency building. + Facilitate common understanding, philosophy, and definitions for people performance, succession, development and achievement. + Develop, execute and maintain programs to identify and enhance performance for all employees and leaders. Includes performance management, leader succession planning, and career frameworks. + Partner closely with leaders & HRBPs to build awareness and adoption. Work closely with HRBPs on cross functional projects or programs as needed. + Build organizational capability, drive accountability and increase employee engagement by providing tools & resources to support managers. + Develop the infrastructure for all learning and development programs by establishing standardized methods and procedures for delivery, evaluation, measurement and reporting. + Develop metrics to enable robust evaluation strategies to measure learner outcomes, productivity & business impact of learning solutions. Utilize data and analytics to create insights to organization effectiveness and opportunities. + Bring deep thought leadership, insights, and new ideas related to Talent Development based on innovation and trends in the marketplace in the areas of digital learning and other evidence-based practices. + Manage the enterprise learning technology platform to ensure intuitive and easy access for all employees. + Define OD capabilities and frameworks required to support business; including org health, leadership development, team development, change management and coaching. + Develop a long-term strategy to prioritize, develop and embed key capabilities, frameworks and methodology to support and drive organization health and achieve our culture aspirations. + Collaborate across HR community to identify trends, insights and opportunities to address in both our Talent strategies and development of solutions. Help to define and propose metrics, analysis and ongoing review of organizational health. **Education Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree Required **Experience Qualifications** + Ten (10) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience, including five (5) years of people leadership (managing leaders) experience required. **Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Deep knowledge of how people learn/change behaviors and how to deliver large-scale programs and interventions. + Demonstrated understanding of strategic and operational drivers of business performance. + Demonstrated use of consultative approach in working with internal clients. + Experience developing learning curriculums - conducting needs analysis, designing learning programs and facilitating experiential learning programs with demonstrated results + Proven track record in delivery and facilitation of learning programs in a variety of formats (in-person, virtual, multi-session) + Proven expertise in using data to inform business impact and decisions on effectiveness of development experiences - and an understanding of what creates both learning and behavior change resulting in measurable improvement + Experience using technology to curate and deliver high-impact learning + Demonstrated experience articulating a vision, translating it into executable strategy and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against the plan + A leader who thrives in ambiguity and building effective solutions that scale and work through in person and remote environments + Experience and/or deep subject matter expertise in driving career and professional development + Knowledge of core learning frameworks and assessments and ability to use these in a practical way at work + Model Integrated Learning & Design approach including go to market strategy - consulting on how a learning solution fits into the overall learning plan + Ability to work independently and collaboratively; self‐motivated and disciplined to meet deadlines in the context of competing priorities and client demands. + Process oriented & well organized; ability to lead many projects simultaneously, connect the dots and prioritize accordingly, adhering to timelines & quality standards + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Strong executive presence.
