Senior Director, Business Development uBreakiFix
Location: Nashville, TN preferred (potential for remote + travel)

What you will be doing:
The Senior Director UBIF Business Development is responsible for leading Ubreakifix strategy and pursuit of new clients for in-warranty, out of warranty and protection plan repair volume, and new service capabilities (such as installation, non-repair revenue services) for the uBreakiFix network (including stores, remote tech and mail in). They will find external opportunities to increase volume by sourcing, negotiating with, and securing contracts with new partner verticals and channels and grow volume within existing partners. They will work cross-functionally across multiple Asurion teams, including Operations, Partner Programs, Product, Pricing & Marketing and legal, to drive increased revenue and new capability opportunities for all UBIF channels. The full potential revenue opportunity this person will be accountable for to deliver is $25K per store per month which is estimated to be over $20M annually.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This person must have proven sales and business development experience as they will be both an individual contributor out in the market prospecting and signing new clients and the leader for the Director of Business Development at Ubreakifix. Develop the strategy to secure new business and contracts with new channels and segments to drive additional and/or exclusive repair and new capability volume to all Ubreakifix channels, with a specific focus on key OEM’s in computing and gaming, school districts, and government entities. Assist in development of new business opportunities or business cases across the Ubreakifix channels Work cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc. to demonstrate value proposition and negotiate contracts with potential channel partners Work cross-functionally with Product, Partnership teams, Operations, etc. to develop and deploy pilots and longer-term program management across the network Define key metrics and KPIs for new business opportunities and pilots ensuring actionable outcomes; provide in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and solutions on results Identify areas of opportunity in pricing and work with Pricing and Operations to develop the best value proposition Advise on most impactful ways to establish service offerings, especially in non-mobile categories, to drive increased volume Partner with Marketing on messaging of service offerings and promotions for maximum impact
Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:
Required Education and Experience
MBA degree in Business Administration or Sales Management or related field required 10 + years of experience securing contracts with large OEM’s, VARS, Schools Proven sales/business development results with OEM’s, Schools and or VAR’s 10+ years of sales operations and/or volume generation experience Proven ability to lead revenue-focused business transformations & growing customer volumes Extensive experience in leading & influencing teams working with industry best practices and applying these to create and deliver practical solutions Ability to develop, mentor, and highlight top talent within the business Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilitiesTechnical skills:
Proven ability to drive business development strategy, prospect and sign new business Ability to develop and size a sales funnel to focus on the key opportunities that drive the most revenue and margin impact Strong strategy, strategic selling skills Team management and leadership to lead and manage at least one Director of Business Development Strong business development and relationship building experience Strong communication and public speaking skills Experience with responding to RFPs & creating content Ability to build and maintain relationships and partner effectively across diverse internal and external organizations Ability to represent UBIF and act as a brand ambassador outside of the office setting Successful track record of working through barriers and delivering resultsSoft/Leadership skills:
