The Department of Surgery is currently seeking a full time Sr. Division Administrator to work in Miami. The Sr. Division Administrator will be responsible for serving as the principal advisor regarding all financial, human resources, and operational matters, which may affect the short or long-term success of the Division of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery. The incumbent on this position will be accountable for planning, developing, implementing, and administering financial controls, staffing and financial analyses, operating systems, and internal controls.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides leadership in developing business strategies and tactics to support the goals of the division and overall Health System’s strategic plans for market growth and development.
Heads performance management processes and outcomes for employees and physicians.
Guides managers in developing skills in and implementation of performance management practices.
Supports professional development of the workforce.
Performs needs assessments to determine continuing education needs of staff. Monitors staff and physician satisfaction.
Provides administrative oversight to the division’s practices, supporting the employment of quality improvement processes.
Pursues the spread of best practice in operations, consistent with overall network goals.
Directs the planning and strategic formation of the clinical program’s goals.
Directs the development of policies and procedures for network-wide use in the clinical activities of the practices.
Analyzes and reviews financial and productivity reports.
Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures.
Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS .
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
