Sr. Ecommerce Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Ecommerice Manager to join our marketing team to be a key player in driving qualified traffic to the SCUF Gaming website. This role is pivotal in driving our direct-to-consumer business through data-driven product merchandising, promotional planning & consumer journey development. The ideal individual should be a creative problem solver and possess the ability to implement innovative e-commerce strategies based on data-driven insights. A deep understanding of the gaming community and active participation in gaming forums or communities will be a significant advantage. 

 

Strategic Promotion and Campaign Planning: 

Lead the development and management of our yearly promotion and campaign calendar, ensuring that monthly and quarterly focuses align with overall business objectives and are communicated effectively across teams.  Collaborate closely with team leads to align on strategic directions for monthly campaigns and promotions.  Develop and manage promotional forecasts using ASP and unit sales targets to project promo lift.  Formulate and execute e-commerce channel strategies that aligns campaigns, promotions, new product introductions & partnership executions. 

Comprehensive Asset Management: 

Design and oversee the execution of a master asset calendar, strategically positioning homepage, landing page, and promotional content to maximize customer engagement and conversion.  Drive the creation of high-impact creative assets by submitting detailed briefs and ensuring that all materials are aligned with the brand’s vision and strategic objectives. 

Performance Insights: 

Synthesize and present performance recaps of promotions, offering strategic insights to the performance team and making data-driven recommendations to optimize future initiatives.  Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key findings and performance trends 

Project and Process Leadership: 

Lead the strategic planning and execution of e-commerce projects, from managing Monday.com sprint boards to coordinating complex website tasks, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.  Spearhead the development and implementation of new content management processes in Prismic, optimizing workflows and delegating tasks to maximize efficiency. 

Optimization and Innovation in E-Commerce Tools: 

Strategically manage the implementation of promotions in Magento, leveraging cart price rules to enhance customer experience and drive sales.  Lead the strategic setup and analysis of A/B testing, using insights to continuously improve and refine e-commerce performance. 

E-Commerce Growth and Development: 

Advocate for and present strategic e-commerce merchandising initiatives that are designed to drive significant business growth and enhance the customer experience.  Oversee the intake and evaluation of new website requests, ensuring that all initiatives align with strategic business goals and deliver measurable value. 

Team Leadership and Innovation: 

Mentor and develop an E-Commerce Coordinator, fostering a culture of continuous learning and strategic thinking within the team.  Lead the strategic adoption of new SaaS tools, ensuring that all implementations align with broader e-commerce strategies and deliver measurable business outcomes. 

 

Essential Skills and Experience: 

5-7 years of DTC ecommerce experience in e-commerce operations, digital product management & digital marketing. 

Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to drive strategic decisions. 

In-depth experience working in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify & Prismic CMS. 

Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and improving user experience. 

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work collaboratively across various departments. 

Proficiency in digital analytics platforms such as GA4, CrazyEgg. 

Demonstrated project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 

Passion for gaming and a good understanding of the gaming community and trends. 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
