Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance as per EHS Acts, Regulations, and Guidelines of the local authorityManagement Program Oversight: Track and review the effectiveness of EHS management programs, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.EHS Information & Training: Provide comprehensive EHS information, reports, and training to all employees, fostering an understanding of safety practices and legal requirements.Internal Audits & Compliance: Conducts EHS audits and make resolution recommendation. Assists in the implementation of CAPA and monitors continuous improvement activities and projects to ensure compliance with both legal requirements and corporate EHS policies.EHS Inspections: Conduct monthly EHS inspections in collaboration with committee members to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Identify unsafe condition and practices by participating in processes and procedures as well as evaluating industry best practices and safety requirements.Responsible and assist in preventing incidents and eliminating injuries to improve workplace safety. In charge of incident/accident investigation, the root cause analysis, timely closure of all cases and follow upGood understanding on the Permit system such as Hot Work, Work At height, Confined Space and other related permits.Oversee the environmental compliance issues, management, monitoring for facility discharges, air pollution, and other related requirements /permits. Corrective measure taken on the abnormal monitoring result in order to comply to the requirement.Perform and coordinates routine hazardous waste management activities as per legal requirement and implementation of recycling programs.Conduct environment Impact and Risk Assessment. Conduct Environmental Program to create awareness among the employees and contractors.Safety Campaigns: Promote workplace safety and health through in-house campaigns aimed at increasing awareness and engagement among employees.Industrial Hygiene Monitoring: Monitor industrial hygiene programs, conduct hazard analyses of hazardous substances, and evaluate control methods to mitigate risks.Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal customers to address safety, environmental, and health issues effectively. Good knowledge and Control of Contractor Management System.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or a related engineering discipline.Minimum of 5 years in EHS management, with a focus on safety and health in manufacturing environment.Registered Safety Officer would be an advantageGood analytical skills for assessing risks and developing solutions.Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across various levels of the organization.Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and data analysis.Continuous Improvement Mindset: Committed to ongoing professional development in EHS best practices, regulations, and technologies.
