Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer for an end client in Clearwater, FL. In this role, you will work closely with lead Project Engineers to translate design requirements into analog and digital board designs. This includes component selection, simulation, schematic capture, layout, documentation, and the development and support of test procedures for avionics products. You will be responsible for designing PCB circuits, conducting simulations, and ensuring proper system integration. Additionally, you will interface with in-house manufacturing for production test support and troubleshooting, emphasizing a structured development process to meet DO-178C / DO-254 guidelines

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related engineering fields from a 4-year accredited university or college.
At least 7 years of experience in board design, preferably from an aerospace organization.
Experience designing PCB circuits (analog, mixed signal, power supplies, and digital) using Cadence OrCAD and/or Altium Designer.
Electrical Engineering experience on regulated products/devices
Experience conducting simulation using LTspice or equivalent.
Experienced in design and implementation for aerospace applications.
Familiarity with various data and power bus architectures.
Familiarity with implementation of micro-processors.
Experience reviewing PCB layouts with Altium, PADS, or Allegro. PCB layout experience is a plus.
Familiarization with oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, and other standard lab equipment to complete board verification tests.
Experience working in a production environment and implementing Design for Manufacture (DFM).
Capable of interfacing with in-house manufacturing for production test support and troubleshooting.
System integration to ensure proper function of integrated boards in the intended platform.
Experience using modern development, configuration management, problem reporting, and action item tracking tools. Aerospace Industry experience null
