Job Description
Our client is seeking a Sr. Installation Technician to support the National Metering Program at Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Milage reimbursement will be given for travel between sites (approx. 1 hour away). The ideal candidate will be a journeyman/master electrician with experience in a supervisory role as either a lead technician or foreman.

Skills and Requirements
Perform routine installation and checkout on a variety of electrical systems utilizing codes, company procedures, schematics, and/or engineering drawings
Installs raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards and customer system requirements.
Mounts and terminates metering equipment (electric meters, Building Points of Contact, Gas/Water/Steam Pulse kits) as needed.
Checks out wiring and terminations with test instruments as needed.
Performs outages and installation of Current Transformers.
Assists with paperwork, including but not limited to daily reports, status reports, and on-site documentation. Provides feedback to engineering team on changes and keeps as-built drawings current
Mentoring of junior electricians and/or helpers
Adheres to Johnson Controls safety programs and policies Possesses Journeyman or Master Electrician level license
Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and/or engineering drawings.
Possesses working knowledge of local electrical codes.
Experienced in scope determination of installation materials.
Supervisory experience - foreman, site super, lead technician roles null
