Compensation: $106-150K/yearLocation: Pasadena, TXWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ onsite, some occasional travel may be requiredAssignment Duration: Direct HireBenefits: Comprehensive medical, dental and vision provided by ClientElectrical degree required Responsibilities Direct and manage small to large capital projects from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals and deliverable that support plant requirements in collaboration with managementDevelop any and all associated project documents including detailed list of engineering and design specification for the deliverables of the scope; Inquiry to Bid (ITB) packages for contractors and EPC firms, etcEstimate project cost, submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessaryKeep track of project costs and variance reportsDevelop timelines and identify resources needed to execute the projects on time and on budgetPlane, schedule, and track project timelines and milestonesSelect equipment, piping, electrical & instrumentation, civil, structural, vendor/contractors through the bid process when applicableWhere required, negotiate with vendor/supplier to meet the project budget/process requirementEffectively communicate project expectations to team members and other departments in a timely and clear fashionLiaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basisDelegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members and personnelDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirement documentations, and presentations Qualifications Bachelor's degree required in Electrical engineering10+ years experience in engineer and chemical/refinery operations3+ years experience in Project ManagementStrong ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with little daily oversightPMP a plusSkilled with the following platforms: SAP, AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office Understand the PSM process to to include the MOC and PSSR requirementAbility to collaborate, coordinate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders/business partnersAble to provide support and advice in operational aspects to others with less experienceMust be able to take project from cradle to grave
