We’re looking for a **Sr. Engineer** to join our team. The Sr. Engineer will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical specifications and building intuitive data models using industry-leading BI tools like Power BI and Qlik. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Design & Develop BI Solutions** : Build robust and scalable BI solutions that facilitate data-driven decision-making processes across departments. + **Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams** : Partner with business analysts, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications. + **Data Modeling** : Create and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and optimization across BI tools like Power BI and Qlik. + **Database Management** : Develop and maintain data models within databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval for reporting purposes. + **BI Tool Management** : Optimize BI platforms (such as Power BI, Qlik) for data visualization, reporting, and analytical purposes to meet organizational needs. + **Report Development & Maintenance** : Design, implement, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that are easily interpretable and actionable. + **Ensure Data Integrity** : Continuously monitor, audit, and enhance the integrity, accuracy, and performance of BI solutions and data models. + **Documentation & Training** : Document BI processes and train users on how to interact with reports and data models effectively. + **Support Business Insights** : Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to business users on how to derive actionable insights from BI reports and dashboards. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field. + Proven experience (5+ years) as a BI Developer or in a similar data-focused role. + Proficiency in BI tools such as **Power BI** or **Qlik** . + Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices. + Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. + Experience working with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Advanced certifications in BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.) or database management. + Experience with other BI tools or platforms like Tableau or Microsoft SSRS. + Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration. **Our benefits include:** Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) Basic Life/AD&D Employee Assistance Program Paid Holidays Paid Time Off 401(k) FSA/HSA Pre-Tax Benefits Discounts Life/Disability Plans CompuCom is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in all employment practices.
