Foot Locker is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join an engineering team focused on updating and enhancing several brands within Foot Locker’s dynamic web-based eco-system. The position includes the development of new systems as well as maintenance and improvement of existing applications. In this role you’ll be responsible for translating UI/UX designs into code deliverables enhancing the customer experience. You will work across several disciplines of software engineering teams to advise and assist in the creation and improvement of our modern technology products and experiences. Every day, you’ll work with team members across multiple departments to understand company challenges and create scalable solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, integrate, and deploy digital consumer experiences based on the foundation of the Adobe product suite, including sites and assets.
• Design, develop and implement components, templates, including workflow step components.
• Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of the Adobe core platform.
• Position is responsible for delivering complex solutions to site visitors and being able to work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team.
• Experience developing code and working in an Agile environment.
• Drive technical effort working with partners, site content, and creative teams to ensure timely execution of testing and personalization cadence.
• Work heavily with JavaScript within our React / Redux application.
• Bring customer focus and a collaborative approach to your work.
• Work with our core services and teams to develop innovative web services.
• Stay up to date on emergent web technologies and best practices.
• Ability to work confidently across multiple initiatives.
• Execute best practices for technical implementation and provide a strategy to achieve exceptional solutions using Adobe Target.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix any configuration and integration issues related to delivering customer site experiences and tool implementation.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• Strong ability to develop first-class consumer experiences and e-commerce proficiency applying coding best practices to create exceptional experiences.
• Minimum 3 years of working with A/B Testing and site personalization efforts, preferable leveraging Adobe Target as a platform.
• Minimum 2 years of experience building enterprise level applications.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, HTL, CSS, JavaScript, HTML.
• Expertise working cross functionally in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity of optimization testing tools such as Optimizely, Monetat, Maxymiser
• Expertise with SPA client-side frameworks such as React JS
• Expertise with server-side technologies such as Node JS
• Familiarity of micro-service technologies
• Proven knowledge of enterprise software concerns such as security, scalability, transaction management, and concurrency.
• Familiarity with web accessibility best practices
• Experience in making changes in Adobe Launch for Target-related requirements.
• Ability to work independently, communicates effectively, and produces superior results.
• Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on a highly collaborative team and working with designers, Quality Assurance, and subsequently developers for execution of design.
• Experience configuring and operating Adobe Target to develop and deliver the right experience to the right customer.

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $90,000 -$135,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
