Sr. Engineer
Job Description Our client is looking for a Sr. Engineer with extensive experience working with main replacements for utilities. They will be working with distribution pressure helping replace thousands of feet of pipe. A job is created for pipe in the ground that needs to be replaced, this engineer identifies the area that needs to be surveyed, reviews the surveys and finds and replaces the pipe in place or a new route for that pipe. This person could be doing restoration plans for the area as far as what kind of paving needs to go back. They will not be designing, but consulting on the utilities in the area. Must follow main service procedures and standards (where they put the pipe, fill types, requirements for the construction, etc.) This person will be working with internal and external team members. Skills and Requirements - Ideally 7+ years of relevant working experience with gas/pipeline engineering in the utility industry - Experience in design, planning, technical field work, preparation of specifications, scheduling, and project cost estimating - Demonstrated prioritization, documentation, organization, and project management skills - Able to work successfully in a team environment by building effective working relationships internally and externally - Bachelor of Science degree or PE license in electrical, mechanical, civil, or other appropriate engineering field - Knowledge of engineering economics and utility accounting practices - Experience working on complex engineering projects - Technical certificate in design null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
