Sr. Engineer

This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Manufacturing Technology Specialists, Integration of New Technology, Continuous Improvement and Cost reduction efforts, Support of skills-based operation throughout Niagara plants, enhancing current system infrastructure and management of learning. In addition, this Supervisor role will require collaborating team calendars, trainings, and activities with the Technical Training Team.

Essential Functions

Training Delivery

Deliver training to participantsConduct pre/post training assessments

Instructional Design

Oversee the development of instructor-led courses and ongoing support materialsEnsure that competencies required by existing and new processes and equipment are identified and incorporated into corrective actions.Communicate effectively with training stakeholders for any requirementsWorks with the Content Coordinator to create assigned end user training documentation and ongoing support material, according to defined standardsCollaborate with other Technical Services groups to write, or work with vendors to develop, written and demonstration-based Skills Assessments to determine baseline knowledge of all Niagara Mfg Technical personnelTeach equipment-specific root-cause troubleshooting methodsSupport Plant Continuous Improvement Process Managers with training materials

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:4 Years   – Experience in business analysis or adult learning theory or similar manufacturing environment4 Years  – Experience in Position2 Years  – Experience managing people/projects
