An HMNA Senior Engineer - Manufacturing shall possess an in-depth knowledge of North American manufacturing processes and methodology. As an HMNA Senior Engineer - Manufacturing, the associate shall be expected to evaluate current manufacturing processes and implement improvements based on industry standard LEAN Manufacturing principles. The HMNA Senior Engineer - Manufacturing associate shall evaluate manufacturing performance and report trends and opportunities to HMNA management. The HMNA Senior Engineer - Manufacturing shall mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical, project management and professional guidance when required.
Essential Functions
· With limited guidance, manage design projects to meet all time and cost budgets
· Provide project summaries to HMNA leadership and manage projects through standard Stage Gate process
· Ensure all project related information remains organized and useful throughout the project lifecycle
· As a salaried associate, it is expected that all work be completed on-time, regardless of hours clocked for the day/week
· Establish in-depth knowledge of mechanical / electrical systems used in various HMNA machine platforms
· With limited guidance, create work instructions and Standard Operating procedures for use in various HMNA technical disciplines
· With limited guidance, revise released work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures using established document control processes
· With limited guidance, complete production readiness activities including, but not limited to
o Control Plans
o Time Studies
o Process Flows
o Preventative Maintenance
o KANBAN Setup
· With limited guidance, design production tooling and manage procurement of tooling
· Manage production tooling database
· Train employees and enhance the relationship between engineering and operations
· Conduct cell audit activities to ensure adhesion to standard processes, build times, and expected quality
· Support HMNA production by answering assembly and commissioning questions on in-process HMNA machines
· Support various HMNA disciplines by answering engineering questions and requests through the HMNA Engineering Ticket System
Qualifications and Skills
· Individual Contributor - Manufacturing

· 10-15 years of engineering experience
· Education: Bachelors in Manufacturing Engineering
