You’ll be a key part of the launch team that will help bring the electrification revolution to driveways, job sites, and highways everywhere. BlueOval Battery Park Michigan will produce the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells to power the next-generation Ford EV passenger vehicles and trucks under development. This new wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company will create more than 1,700 jobs when production begins in 2026. This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall with expectation to be on-site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
-7+ years of relevant windows system and infrastructure administration experience required.

You will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work for BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC, a Ford wholly owned subsidiary located in Marshall, Michigan. You will remain an at-will employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.

What you'll do...
As a Senior Server and Infrastructure Administrator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the Blue Oval Battery Park Michigan IT infrastructure, including a multi environment platform, core services and infrastructure components. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that server and Infrastructure services are built using robust, secure, and scalable best practices.
- Plan, Install, configure, and maintain the core services and infrastructure to host a multi-platform set of systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot system issues, ensure maximum system uptime, review and address connectivity problems, and remedy security vulnerabilities.
- Configure and maintain a hybrid Active Directory/ MS Entra environment, including user and group administration, permissions, and policies.
- Deploy and update software using technologies such as SCCM/Intune as well as conduct remote imaging and configurations.
- Assist in troubleshooting network-related problems and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and patch systems regularly with a schedule in place.
- Work daily with a helpdesk system (ITSM) managing requests, tasks, changes, and projects.
- Manage and maintain regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Participate in the planning and execution of network/systems new implementations, upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various IT initiatives and projects.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members and assist in resolving IT-related inquiries.
