Sr. Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop further our embedded Systems Engineering team. This position requires a broad technical background, system level thinking and leadership skills with a balance between people and strategic leadership. The role will report to the Director of Engineering.  WHAT WILL YOU DO:Systems Team management, including but not limited to, leading and managing a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environmentDriving advancement of all aspects of the development process framework with focus on Systems engineering role in a V-modelStaying up to date with technology trends and engineering best practices, processes, standards, and work instructionsSupporting staffing of the group to meet business demands and objectivesTeam members development by identifying opportunities for professional development and growthSupport and drive new product development projects planning and executionDrive robust design culture through continuous systemic improvement initiativesSupport root cause determination and/or corrective action for quality, field, or manufacturing issuesDevelop budget to support annual planning activities and manage approved budget within constraints

WHAT WILL YOU NEED:Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from Technical UniversityExcellent people and time management, and strong leadership skills and experienceProven years of experience in the related industry (aerospace, automotive, power, medical)Previous team management and leadership experience requiredAbility to coach, mentor, and motivate individuals to perform beyond their comfort zoneExpert knowledge of the software/HW electronics product life cycleHighly refined emotional intelligence, along with communication and presentation skillsExcellent technical savvy and ability to reach consensus on technical directionExperience in cooperating with mid to large international and multi-functional teamsExperience in aviation/aerospace industry will be beneficialFluent English and Polish language skills, written and spoken
