DescriptionDescriptionApple Services Engineering is looking for a leader to drive Engineering research and development for Block Storage platforms. This leader will be responsible for the software engineering and quality of business critical infrastructure for some of the biggest services in the world. The mission of the team is to build and deliver storage infrastructure inside Apple data centers. As a general purpose “disk” service, it will need to support workloads ranging from databases and ML/analytics frameworks to orchestration of large scale containerized and virtualized jobs. We are looking for a standout colleague who is able to take on problems under tight deadline constraints and deliver imaginative solutions. This role will report to a staff leader of Virtualized Infrastructure and Service Delivery in Apple Services Engineering. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $208,300 and $360,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
