**We count on you for:**
+ Adhere to all plant HSE standards, policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
+ Works closely with regulatory representatives to manage and coordinate environmental permit applications, renewals, reports, and procedures to maintain compliance with regulations.
+ Provide guidance and coordinate the plant waste management activities including:
- Administration and compliance with all RCRA permit requirements,
- Coordination and oversight of solid waste and LQG hazardous waste management programs
- Support of company sustainability/waste minimization projects and targets.
+ Provide guidance, manage and coordinate plant air, water and waste permits including:
- Preparation of permit application renewals,
- Negotiating permit terms and conditions with permitting agencies
- Implementation of permit and new regulatory requirements,
- Support of company air and water sustainability projects and targets
+ Consult on environmental impact for plant capital projects.
+ Establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, policies and procedures to support zero injuries, environmental compliance, and cost saving opportunities.
+ Provide training for all environmental requirements and monitors day-to-day plant operations to ensure compliance.
+ Maintain awareness of new environmental regulatory requirements and advise plant as appropriate to ensure compliance
+ Oversees the development and presentation of environmental programs and environmental resources including the site Environmental Engineer and the site Leak Detection and Repair Coordinator.
+ Involves helping Plant Management with community relations by participating in the coordination and management of the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day, Paint Swap Day, and participation with community groups.

**You will bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Science, preference in Engineering; Master's in Sciences preferred
+ 15+ years of related field work experience
**You will get:**
+ Competitive salary and benefits package
+ The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $119,200 to $149,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
