Sr. Environmental HSE Engineer
As a Senior Environmental HSE Engineer at the Phoenix Engines site, you will serve as a functional HSE expert, providing Environmental & Safety leadership and technical support to the facility. Work within robust operating and management systems to reduce risk. Strengthen systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and Honeywell requirements. Partner with business leaders and employees to continuously improve HSE culture, awareness and accountability in support of business objectives. You will report to work fully onsite at 111 S 34th St. Phoenix, AZ 85034. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Management and continual improvement of environmental programs including industrial wastewater, hazardous waste, air emissions and storm water compliance. + You will also assist in managing Title V compliance and permitting for an aircraft engine testing / manufacturing facility. + Integrate HSE processes and safe work practices into daily operations + Lead HSE initiatives and continuous HSE improvement as an integrated business partner to support achievement of site goals and ensure zero harm to everyone + Drive Excellence and engagement in HSE through management, leadership and employee involvement, worksite risk assessments, hazard prevention and control, and HSE training + Deploy and manage environmental initiatives to continually improve performance of Environmental programs and processes + Develop and implement environmental and safety programs to maintain compliance with all HSE regulatory and company requirements + Oversight and project management of environmental capital projects BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a performance-driven salary, cutting-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
