Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Sr. Epic Applications Architect - Resolute HB/PB to join the Team. This hybrid role will be full-time day-shift from Monday - Friday.
The Sr. Epic Applications Architect on the Epic Resolute team advises on the infrastructure strategy design, evaluation, purchase, testing, installation and maintenance of the hardware and software for Epic community outreach systems infrastructure necessary to ensure optimal performance. Facilitates problem resolution, escalations and system-wide troubleshooting and support with a superior level of proficiency. Develops and operationalizes strategies for change control processes and release management that guarantees smooth and timely delivery of software products or update activities for Epic and other assigned applications.

Guides the development and establishment of Epic infrastructure components as evidenced by the successful use and maintenance of network components, wireless technologies, remote access services, UPS power systems and hardware. Uses technical knowledge and expertise to effectively/efficiently analyze issues, diagnose problems and identify resolutions. Monitors assigned applications regularly. Completes regularly scheduled performance audits for assigned applications. Manages the overall Change Control processes while facilitating process improvement through the effective use of ITIL best practices. Identifies opportunities and prioritizes continuous improvement initiatives for Change Control management processes. Defines, maintains and troubleshoots the Epic Data Courier and related interfaces. Serves as a liaison representing the Epic application to coordinate information gathering and implement process change to ensure audit mandates are met. Serves as the Chairman of the Change Control Board and ensures the integrity and reliability of information systems. Maintains effective communication with IT and all business/operating units to ensure that the IU/SU/RA processes and procedures meet current and future requirements.Sr. Epic Applications Architect - Resolute HB/PB Additional Requirements:
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; Hybrid Education: Bachelor's degree; or Associate’s degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required Experience: 7 years of diverse IT progressive experience with advanced experience in a change and release architecture management role. Techniques in process management with large enterprise complex environments. Certification: Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) or Professional Billing (PB) certification; Data Courier Admin certification required within six months from date of hireSr. Epic Applications Architect - Resolute HB/PB Preferred Qualifications:
A second Epic certification in a revenue cycle area preferred.
