Supports the monitoring, PM preparation, and compliance of all assigned manufacturing or utilities equipment. Identifies, justifies and direct the implementation of continuous improvement projects to ensure their success in manufacturing. Participate and promote safe operating conditions throughout the entire facilities. Promptly report or correct unsafe conditions. Assist the area manager in the development/implementation/monitoring of departmental goals. Supports the development of Facilities Department budget and control of expenditures. When requested, maintain cost tracking, planning, implementation and supervision of process equipment, utilities or facilities projects. Coordinates and implements requested installation, maintenance, and repair programs for new facilities equipment and layout changes. Performs NCR’s and CAPA investigations on a timely basis, as required. Ensures that all maintenance and repair activities comply with GMP's and OSHA regulations. Supports key process indicators and establish priorities for the carrying out of routine scheduled maintenance work and the response to equipment faults, dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs. Supports the objective of maintaining optimum level of spare parts inventory to minimize machine/equipment downtime. Develops and implements projects/programs that strive to achieve cost reductions and improve operating conditions, as required. Develops and initiate updates to Preventive Maintenance job plans instructions for plant equipment/tools. Coordinate and lead assigned installation, maintenance, and repair programs for new manufacturing equipment or machinery and layout changes. Coordinates equipment repairs/upgrades, as requested by the manager. Supports the introduction and validation of new equipment during installation, preventive maintenance job plans, spare parts and testing, among others. Responsible for engineering support for maintenance, analysis, and upgrade of production support systems when needed. Recommends changes and enhancements in plant equipment and its maintenance frequency. Evaluates PM work orders structure and develops/implement needed upgrades and time standards. Evaluates and approves all maintenance work order requests and recommends priorities. Comply with Scheduled CMMS PMs reviews per established departmental procedures. Reports trends and analyzes equipment performance as required.Willing to be on an emergency standby mode to handle emergency calls at all Integra Facilities. Upon request, the position will coordinate the work of E & I Technicians or Facilities Technicians.
