Databricks' Finance team is looking for a Senior Stock Administration Analyst to join and help us build a world-class equity program. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Manager of Stock Administration and be responsible for hands-on, end-to-end administration of Databricks's global equity plans on Shareworks Private Market solution. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of private and public company experience and be exceptionally organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
The impact you will have:
Administer the company's equity plans for all employees in the U.S. and globally. Collaborate with internal tax and payroll teams on domestic and international equity plan management, including tax withholding and compliance. Process and manage all stock transactions for the global workforce and handle associated tax payments. Provide superior customer service to employees, management, and others, responding quickly to questions using the FreshService ticketing system. Support employee understanding of equity awards and company programs by providing live and recorded presentations. Work with inside and outside counsel to monitor global compliance developments for the stock plan. Perform data entry and manage daily and cyclical stock administration processes using the Shareworks private company platform. Understand and apply accounting rules associated with stock-based compensation (ASC-718 & ASC-606). Prepare monthly reconciliations of option grants, exercises, RSU releases, grant cancellations, and outstanding share balances. Assist with U.S. and international reporting requirements to ensure compliance with jurisdictional rules and regulations. Prepare custom reports and reconciliations to assist in the review of equity and transaction data. Provide supporting documents for internal/external SOX auditors and respond accurately and timely to data requests. Maintain effective partnerships with internal Legal, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and PeopleOps teams. Assist with the design of employee education programs and the implementation of a global mobility tax solution. Review the current use of Shareworks and suggest ways to better utilize its functionality. Day-to-day operations, responding to employee questions, reconciliation and data entry, and strong attention to detail. The candidate will take over responsibilities such as termination processing, responding to employee questions in FreshService, Freshservice and Glean chatbot usage reporting, updating the mobile employee tracking list, expiring options notifications, employee rehire audits, force activating Shareworks accounts, processing share transfers and secondary transactions, and assisting with exercise and release processing. They will also assist with domestic and international compliance and future scope tasks like ESPP enrollment and purchases.What we look for:
4+ years of relevant experience in the administration of global equity plans, ideally for both private and publicly traded U.S. companies. Bachelor's degree required. CEP Level III certification preferred, with a minimum of CEP Level II required. Strong working knowledge of stock plans and various equity award types. General understanding of equity taxation. Expertise in Shareworks and Excel (pivot tables, lookups). Proven track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional groups (e.g., Finance, Legal, Accounting, Payroll, and HR). Experience working directly with Shareworks and other major third-party equity software systems and brokerage firms. Workday experience preferred. Demonstrated analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills.

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
