The Amazon Entertainment People eXperience and Technology (PXT) organization (HR) is seeking a senior-level Executive Assistant to provide single-threaded support our Vice President. We build the culture, talent, and organization that ensures all Entertainment Amazonians thrive in creating, inventing and delivering for our customers globally. PXT for Amazon Entertainment supports a portfolio of entertainment businesses that span film, TV, live sports, music, podcasts, games, audiobooks, livestreaming, and other media content.
The Entertainment PXT team focuses on the inputs that attract, grow, and retain creative, technical, and business talent at scale. We customize for unique Entertainment business and industry needs where necessary and scale where possible and applicable. Our Entertainment employees deliver world-class products and services for playing, listening, watching, and streaming in an ever-immersive entertainment environment.
From Day One, this role will focus on keeping the organization’s leader and team organized, informed, and on task. High-level calendar management and scheduling will require attention to detail as well as superb time management and organizational skills. You should be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, have the ability to manage last-minute escalations, and effectively partner with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization to get things done.
You must understand business priorities and demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements. This role requires professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information. You should be resourceful, forward-thinking, and a creative problem solver.
Key job responsibilities
• Own complex calendar and scheduling
• Own domestic and international travel
• Manage expense report coordination and submission
• Develop, organize, execute, and assist with team activities (Staff meetings; All-Team meetings; Off-Sites; and team social events/recognition
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
• Manage team space, including moves, new hire location assignments, and re-configurations
• Work closely with the leadership team and our business partners.
• Partner with other Executive Assistants throughout the team and across the company
