As the Public Sector Sr. Field Marketing Leader , you will be the strategic partner to sales,  serving as the "go-to" marketing point-of-contact for the US Public Sector. Reporting up to the SVP, Field Marketing & Operations, you will work in a fast-paced, agile and collaborative marketing environment. You will be responsible for developing a prioritized marketing plan to achieve sales goals and marketing performance indicators (KPIs) across Federal Civilian, Defense, Intel and SLED market segments. You will build a GTM plan with purpose that is aligned with business priorities, in collaboration with the broader marketing team to maximize the investment to encompass all aspects of the marketing mix.  You will partner with Product Marketing to ensure messaging on point for the Public Sector market, deliver stellar customer experiences and drive results against goals. 

As a Field Marketing Manager you will:

Closely align with sales on regional sales goals, keep a pulse on business needs and form insights 

Develop a regional plan that encompasses the full marketing investment mix aligned to company GTM priorities with strategy and purpose, in partnership with the extended marketing team and partner.

Implement a mix of marketing tactics to fuel growth and accelerate deals including 1:1 ABM, in-person events (cloudera led and 3rd party sponsored), meeting/calling programs and more to increase brand & demand, expand and retain customers, accelerate deals and penetrate new logo accounts 

Execute events and campaign pre, during and post event strategy with operational excellence.  Oversee the development of relevant content for specific public sector customer needs.

Interlock cross marketing to collaborate on the GTM plan and drive velocity through the demand funnel  

Team with Product Marketing to leverage approved message and ensure aligned to Public Sector

Be lead with our primary Public Sector partner Carahsoft to drive our investment strategy, process and results 

Measure, analyze and evaluate performance against KPIs and goals to continually optimize results, deliver actionable insights, and make data driven decisions to continually improve outcomes

Manage budget forecasting and spend 

Drive pipeline outcomes and marketing ROI

Be an ambassador for brand and compliance

Be responsible for overseeing the demand funnel to increase velocity to close

We're excited about you if you have:

BS/BA in business, marketing or communications. 

5+ years in field marketing 

Additional experience in Digital Campaigns, Events or Partner Marketing is ideal

Strong knowledge and experiences across Federal Civilian, Defense, Intel and SLED market segments

Experience in tech software marketing is ideal

Sales experience is a plus

Ability to build and execute a strategic GTM collaborative marketing plan including in-person events and account based marketing 

Excellent interpersonal skills - can work well cross-functionally and with diverse audiences to achieve collaborative objectives
