Join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst, where you will oversee month-end close and reporting, manage freight spend, drive annual operating plan (AOP) and forecasting, conduct an in-depth analysis of freight costs, and lead cost reduction initiatives. As part of our IA GFC ISC function, you will provide valuable financial insights and support key decision-making processes.Role Overview:• Offer financial support to the IA ISC function, improving visibility into logistics operational strategy and performance to boost freight productivity.• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to the business.• Drive analytics and transformation in the freight spend area to enable informed business decision-making.Key Responsibilities:• Ensure weekly and monthly reporting, along with in-depth analysis of logistics spending, including freight, productivity, and warehouse costs.• Prepare spend variance analysis by comparing actuals to AOP and PY, with variances explained by key elements such as volume/mix, operations, inflation, and productivity.• Implement bi-weekly SRO updates by analyzing spending patterns and offering accrual guidance to facilitate smooth month-end closures.• Conduct bi-weekly spending reviews with business and ISC finance leaders, providing updates on the financial pulse.• Perform GL analysis for logistics accounts and collaborate with the freight audit team to address cost allocation issues.• Support digitization, automation, and standardization initiatives, including EDW deployment, freight audit insourcing, and freight analytics.• Generate suggestions for process improvements to enhance scalability and reduce manual work.What We're Looking For:What We're Looking For:• Experience: 10+ years in finance, with a background in logistics or supply chain management.• Education: CA, Cost Accountant, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.• Skills: Strong analytical skills, experience in the Logistics Domain, and proficiency in tools like Tableau, SQL, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Essbase, HANA/BW, Hyperion).• Preferred: Strong Knowledge of logistics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment independently.Valued Skills:• Strong analytical background with expertise in data management.• Exposure to digitization and project management.Additional InformationJOB ID: HRD255822Category: FinanceLocation: Devarabisanahalli Village, KR Varturhobli,,East Taluk - Phase I,Bangalore,KARNATAKA,560103,IndiaExemptCustomer Experience (GLOBAL)
