Sr. Finance Analyst - Master Data

The role will run processes that support the delivery of accurate and timely finance master data, including validation of vendor bank details for review by the team leader.

Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and well organised reconciliations will contribute to the overall success of the Finance function.

Core responsibilities

·       Create and/or review finance master data, including but not limited to Vendors in Oracle as directed.

·       Support the financial controls for the validation of vendor master data

·       Escalate issues to team leader for resolution

·       Strict adherence to Master data SLA’s

·       Responding to vendor / internal stakeholder queries on a timely basis to delivery great service.

·       Monitor workflows to ensure no delays to vendor approvals

Ad hoc responsibilities

·       Review outputs, and conduct training and technical coaching of junior team members;

·       Ensure that standard operating procedures and manuals are up to date;

·       Support the lead in producing process, business or management reports;

·       Ensure appropriate continuous professional development, keeping abreast of all internal, legislative, and industry best practice;

·       Support all internal and external audit activities through the provision of required documentation when necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

Previous experience:

Secondary education qualifications or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience in Finance, preferably in master data

Foreign languages:

•                     Speaks English proficiently

Professional qualification & knowledge:

Graduate of BS Accountancy or any related courseCPA qualified or any finance related certification is an advantage but not a requirement

Skills & Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and record keeping.Ability to work within team and with a customer service mindset.Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
