Description of Job: This critical role will have responsibility with providing finance and business support for Valent BioSciences (VBS”) business planning.; including helping to manage our short- and long-term planning processes. The position will also help develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial and business planning. This role will offer the candidate the opportunity to work with all our functional groups including Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development to name a few; as well as our regional affiliate l companies. Last, this role will help management monitor progress towards goal and projects outcomes by analyzing monthly sales and expense forecasts and financial trends. Principal Responsibilities: + Maintain and support the preparation of our short and mid-range planning processes. + Manage the process to collect and coordinate with our regional affiliate companies’ sales submissions into our financial reporting system. + Manage the monthly financial reporting of sales and the overall P&L; including communicating and reporting monthly variances to Management. + Develop transfer price model between VBS and regional affiliates. + Own the process of preparing monthly analysis of product profitability, while continually reviewing the methodology to improve and enhance results. + Formalize communication with parent company for regional reporting, monthly reports, and planning schedules. + Help manage the improvement and efficiency of business processes. + Create support for company strategic projects on an ad-hoc basis. Experience: Between 6 to 9 years of related experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience working within a multinational organization preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for either Accounting or Finance degrees. MBA or master’s degree preferred. Base Salary: The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from: $106,000 to $130,000. Individual pay is based upon location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
